Description
CoastWize is an Augmented Reality display utility that overlays weather and oceanographic information for a device's location onto a real-time display from the device's camera. This presentation allows you to view current and forecasted future conditions in the manner of a dynamic and easy-to-understand "heads-up" display that responds to the direction the user's camera is pointed. The app is designed for use by those who live, work, and play on or near the water, especially coastal boaters. By combining weather and oceanographic data from multiple sources into a single display, CoastWize provides the user with a one-stop-shop and an integrated display of many of the weather and ocean conditions that can affect safety and comfort on the water and along the shoreline.
