Focus on the lyrics
This is version 3 of the popular Lyrics View app. It has been fully rewritten from scratch to support all modern iOS devices. It is used by professional and karaoke singers around the world. The clean and minimal interface lets you focus on the song lyrics played by the iOS music app.
IMPORTANT: Please review the Lyrics View description carefully before making the purchase.
Lyrics View can be used in any orientation on iPhone and fully supports iPad multitasking. With the built-in theme picker, you can change the colour scheme, font, text size and alignment for the best experience.
You can easily control the music player and queue songs from within the app.
Note that the app doesn’t come with any lyrics, nor does it download them from the internet. You need to ensure that your music collection is tagged properly. This means it doesn't support displaying lyrics for songs streamed from services like Apple Music or Spotify. Lyrics View loads lyrics from the song file tags. You can easily edit them using the iTunes or Music application on your desktop computer. For more information and any support queries please visit the product website.

Does not work! Cannot read lyrics for most of my tags!

I’m very disappointed by this app, although I had been happy with the previous versions!
Not only I had to pay 5.49 € for this iOS 11 version (although I had already bought the iOS 10 version, of which I was satisfied but which is not compatible with iOS 11), but this iOS 11 app is useless: it does not read most of my mp3 lyrics which were previously read by the previous version!!
For almost all songs it says instead:
"Lyrics tag for this song is empty”
But the tag is not empty:
- I had added all lyrics myself with “Jaikoz Audio tagger” in the mp3 files on my PC before loading them in iTunes and my phone,
- they could be read by the previous version (“lyrics viewer 2”),
- iTunes can still read them perfectly,
- and another iPhone app, “Cesium music player” app, can read them perfectly too.
FYI I have an iPhone 6 and the latest iOS version, 11.2.5, and same problem either when I had 11.2.2.
Only for a few songs the tag can be read by “Lyrics viewer 3” (those for which the Apple Music app can read it too, when doing force touch on the song title).
Please solve this bug because for now this app is worthless despite the price paid.
