I've beenn using Stage Traxx for some years now. It's always been great, but the latest version is just incredible ! Let's you do almost all you could wish for in a live performance. You can now even incorporate PDF files and display sheey music or a photo of your cat or whatever !
The developer, Peter Dikant is a great guy who replies very fast to any questions, and technical issues are dealt with almost before they're reported !!
Go for it !

J’ai longtemps cherché une appli comme ça pour jouer sur des backing tracks, aussi bien sur iphone que tablette ou le Mac.
Sous son air simple, les fonctions sont puissantes avec une bonne ergonomie.
Le gros plus selon moi: une interaction complête entre StageTraxx et mon pédalier multi-effets (HelixLT) grâce à des commandes MIDI qui marchent parfaitement et dans les deux sens. Ainsi, la sélection d’une chanson dans StageTraxx me met automatiquement sur le bon preset du pédalier. De même, la sélection d’un preset sur le Helix permet de lancer immédiatement le backing track qui va avec.
Il est très utile de visionner les tutos vidéo sur la chaine pour comprendre l’ensemble des possibilités. J’étais passé à côté la première fois.
Et la version gratuite (limitée à 6 chansons) permet de bien faire ce genre de test MIDI avec son matériel avant d’acheter. Excellent travail.

...Stage Traxx 3 est parfait pour ce à quoi il est destiné : jouer en live sur une backingtrack en affichant tout ce qu'on veut dans un prompteur (paroles, tablatures, etc...) et en envoyant des signaux midi à divers trucs autour.
Il est admirablement bien pensé, il ne manque pas une fonction dont vous réviez.
Le seul bémol pour moi qui justifie le manque de la cinquième étoile est le fait qu'il faille le payer deux fois si on le veut à la fois en appli Mac OSX et IOS.

je l'utilise depuis quelques temps déjà sur l'ipad et j'ai découvert avec plaisir qu'il était compatible avec le macbook air, c'est super.
je n'ai rien trouvé de mieux à ce jour, je recommande

My first review was influenced by the shock of changing from a comfortable V2 to the new ST3 with loads of new features.
Now I’m used to it and using it regularly I have nothing but praise for this versatile and totally reliable application.
Couldn’t perform without it !
The developer, Peter is an amazing guy who goes out of his way to reply rapidly to any questions, and listens closely to requests from users.
The app has been updated with new features and improvements suggested by us users.
If you’re a solo artiste (or duo/ trio...) this is really what you need !
Go for it !
The latest update has gone even beyond perfect !! :)

Version 3.2.0
Je suis passé sur la version 3 dès sa sortie. Un peu perdu au début mais rapidement familiarisé avec... je l utilise en live et c est encore plus simple avec « queue ».Le support technique est très réactif. Un manuel français serait un gain de temps.
Une fonction boucle sur la backing track pour mettre un passage en boucle ferait de Stagetrax3 la meilleure application pour le live.
Bravo aux développeurs
