mypensionID is the secure, simple and fast way to verify your identity for your pension
schemes. mypensionID also allows you to update your address in one place for all of your
pensions shown in your dashboard, whether at home or on the go. mypensionID is designed
to put you back in control of your data, you decide which pension scheme to update and with
what data.
Using innovative and proven mobile technology and biometrics, mypensionID offers a secure and convenient way for you to keep your pension scheme data up to date, ensuring
you never lose touch with your pension pots and control the information you receive. You
own and are in control of your data.
HOW TO REGISTER
If you have received an invitation letter from mypensionID, all you need to do is follow the
onscreen instructions to onboard with mypensionID. You’ll need the 12-digit Unique Security
code from the letter and you’ll need to verify your identity with a selfie and a valid government
issued photo identity document (passport, driving licence or national ID card).
After you’re set up, you can create a 5-digit passcode to log in faster in future.

We use the latest online security measures to protect your personal information and your
privacy. This includes preventing connections from the app on devices that we think have
been tampered with.
Your unique biometric details are converted into a non-identifiable biometric key that can only
be matched to you.
Your data is encrypted at rest and in transit.

services, please check with them. Services may be affected by phone signal and

If your phone has been subjected to unauthorised modifications (e.g. jailbroken or rooted) the
app will not be compatible with your device.
When you use this app we collect anonymous location data to help combat fraud, fix bugs

One star is generous
Hopeless app but it’s been around for several years, you’d think they’d sorted the bugs by now. Asks for 5 digit code but sends you a 12 digit code. Scanning passport is impossible. Great idea but it just doesn’t work. Don’t bother with it.

Another useless app
Complete and utterly useless. Tried it 2 years ago didn’t work then, doesn’t work now . Tech support useless.

Waste of time
There’s an hour my life I won’t get back.
The blink photo turned out to be impossible and the person in the other end of the online help had no solutions except to go to the online guide which didn’t even mention the blink photo.
