Mockup enables you to sketch your apps on device templates to visualize your idea. Various devices' templates were designed in two orientations to fit your needs. And with Apple Pencil support, sketching has never been more enjoyable.
A mini toolbar holds powerful options and controls at your fingertips:
- Quick duplication makes it possible to duplicate a sketch over several frames with just a tap.
- Shape detection makes it easy to draw perfect shapes. You can also draw and hold your Apple Pencil to snap into shape without having shape detection enabled.
- Finger drawing toggle
- Pan lock prevents accidental scrolls with one finger when drawing with Apple Pencil
- The grid can be changed between lines and dots, with two spacing options, with separate opacity controls for the outer frame and the grid
- Elements library, save and reuse your most used elements
The canvas starts with one frame and automatically expands as you scroll, delivering a flexible experience while efficiently utilizing storage and performance.
Gestures allow you to control and customize the canvas. Zoom in to sketch your finest details, and zoom out for the big picture. Swipe down with three fingers on any device to make space for your notes. Tap with two fingers to undo, tap with three fingers to redo, tap with four fingers to toggle the interface.
To keep you organized, sketches are grouped in projects. Six beautiful colors can be set as color tags to your projects for easier recognition.
Sketched mockups can be exported and shared as PDF files or individual PNG images. All the data is synced with your other devices over iCloud.

Welcome to Mockup 2.0! This update comes with significant changes and new features besides improvements and fixes.
TEMPLATES
All templates were redesigned. New templates are introduced for different device sizes, in addition to widgets templates and a blank template.
New sketches now start with one frame and can be expanded as usual by scrolling to the edges.
GRIDS
Choose between lines, dots, or no grid at all. Grids come with two spacing options. Furthermore, you can now control the opacity of the frame and the grid.
ELEMENTS LIBRARY
You can now save and reuse your elements.
Here’s how it works:
– Tap the puzzle icon in the toolbar.
– Tap the + in the elements overlay
– Drag over any stroke or element in your sketch
– Name it and click save
– To reuse, tap on any element, and then tap anywhere on the canvas.
To use grids and elements on sketches created on older versions, you need to update them first. For users on iOS14 and higher, tap either the elements or the grid button in the toolbar, and the update alert will appear.
SHAPE DETECTION
The new optimized and improved shape detection algorithms are much better and faster at detecting shapes. Additionally, you can draw and hold with your Apple Pencil to snap to shape without having shape detection enabled in the toolbar.
FIXES
This update comes with many fixes, including:
– Pen colors problem in manual-enabled dark mode
– Export problem when having a toggled frame
– Fixed the lag some users encountered when drawing
– Memory optimizations and other small bug fixes
