Description

Noir is a Safari extension that automatically adds a dark mode to every website you visit.
It makes browsing the web at night so much better. With Noir, you won’t be blinded by bright websites ever again.
And the results look great too. Noir generates a custom dark style for each website you visit, based on the colors that are used on a page. You won’t even notice this happening in the background – that’s how fast it is – but you’ll certainly appreciate the end result: a beautiful dark mode tailored for each website, where contrast is preserved and highlights still pop. And with over 20 built-in themes and the ability to create your own, you can customize the results exactly the way you want.
Noir works with any website you visit in Safari, automatically. By default, Noir is linked to your device’s Dark Mode, so websites will only go dark when you want them to. But you can easily customize this to your liking, even per website. Only want to use Noir on just a few specific websites? Sure thing! Disable Noir on some websites? No problem!
Built from the ground up for iOS and iPadOS, the app feels right at home on your device. It supports the brand new Safari web extension feature, which means there’s no need to manually activate it every time you load a new page. The app also tightly integrates with system features such as Shortcuts, Control Center, Focus Filters, and Widgets to fully integrate Noir in all your workflows. And your settings are automatically synced to all your devices using iCloud.
And just as importantly, Noir takes your privacy seriously: it doesn’t collect any of your browsing data. Period.

Indispensable !!

J’étais en train de naviguer sur safari et ça me brulait les yeux.
Je me suis dit, c’est bête, je suis en mode sombre et les pages sont toujours blanches.
Eurêka !! Après une brève recherche j’ai trouvé cette application.
Elle fonctionne à merveille, se configure facilement et se synchronise avec le mode sombre du téléphone.
J’ai même pas hésité pour 3.99€ c’est une pépite.

J’ai fini utilisé une même application de ce type, mais il y avait beaucoup d’erreurs et d’incohérences avec les sites que je consulter. Enfin c’est fini grâce à cette nouvelle solution. 🥰

Je ne regrette absolument pas mon achat. Fonctionne très bien, et on peut enfin arrêter de s’exploser les yeux sur des fonds blancs inchangeables. Fonctionne de manière totalement transparente. Je recommande !

Sync avec le mode sombre du téléphone

J’apprécie énormément le faite que l’extension synchronise avec le mode sombre du téléphone.
J’ai l’impression que les alternatives ne synchronisent pas.
Maintenant je cherche l’extension chrome fonctionnant de la même manière.

Parfait

24h pour s’habituer à voir internet en noir, et après quel bonheur pour les yeux et pour la batterie ! Pratiquement tous les sites sont convertis en noir et quand certains ne fonctionnent pas il suffit de l’indiquer à l’app pour qu’elle inverse le traitement.
Simple mais efficace. Safari devait l’intégrer nativement avec la généralisation des écrans amoled.

overall pretty great app, but could there be a dark mode for PDF files inside safari support ?
it would save my eyes for people like me neeeding to read papers and courses at night, thank you.

Paid but asks me to pay for installing

I’ve bought this app on the App Store because I needed black pages for screening. The problem is when I try to install the app on my computer it asks me to pay again. Will try a different app though

Change la vie

S’il y a bien une app qu’on peut acheter les yeux fermés, c’est celle-ci ! Elle change la vie. Vous l’installez, et hop, quand votre iPhone est en thème sombre, que vous le gardiez tout le temps ou automatiquement au coucher du soleil, tout Internet dans Safari est en mode sombre.
Vous n’avez plus à y penser. Vous pouvez surfer tranquille le soir sans vous flinguer les yeux. Comme l’appli fait tout toute seule, on oublie même qu’elle est là.

Amazing ! Hoping for a Mac version…

This is the best dark mode app ever made. Detecting which websites already have a dark mode is the icing on the cake, I’ve had other dark mode utilities either make already dark pages fully unreadable or flip them back to light mode 😅 but this one never makes that mistake 👍🏻
I really hope you plan on making a Mac version, I believe your app is better than any option on there ! Outstanding work 🙂

Pour reposer mes yeux

Superbe extension, pour pouvoir lire le soir sans le risque qu'une page tout à coup m'explose les rétines avec son fond blanc. Il s'active automatiquement si le site n'a pas déjà de mode sombre, on peut choisir quand il s'active (personnellement je lui fais suivre le mode sombre d'iOS), et pour l'instant je n'ai pas constaté de conflit. Très pratique pour le site du journal Le Monde par exemple ☺️
