Description
A Food ordering mobile application where users could place an order through the application at restaurants WhatsApp numbers directly.
The splash screen will appear once a user launches the app on the mobile device, while loading data in the background. This screen will be based on the logo and theme of the application
Once the app is launched, users who are logging in for the first time would be required to sign up and create an account if they want to avail the app feature.
Existing users can log in using their email addresses and passwords. There will be an option for password retrieval for users, whereby users will get a 4-digit reset code on their Mobile Number or E-mail id to reset their account password
Users will be able to pick their present location by tapping on GPS icon, the app would automatically retrieve the current location coordinates. Users will also have the option to manually enter the City or Area. Once the location is selected the app will display all registered restaurants in the region.
Once the user has selected a restaurant, the app will show food menu of that restaurant. The menu will be categorized in special offers, most popular as well as the regular menu of the restaurant
The search bar would allow users to search the restaurant, cuisine or food type and find their desired food cuisine or sort/filter by discount deals, new restaurants etc.
Users will be able to add food to the cart and proceed to checkout. Users can also add food to the cart and continue looking for other food options. When buyers want to place an order they will be required to provide their contact information including phone number and proceed to checkout. Their order will be directly placed at the restaurant’s WhatsApp number. Once an order is placed, users will be able to view their order status.
This feature will display the customer’s order history in the app. Orders will be shown depending on their status such as pending or completed.
The application will cater to both in-app and push notifications related to new promotions, deals & vouchers. However, users will have the option to turn off notifications from settings screen.
Tapping on the logout button will navigate the user out of the application and to the login screen. The users will need to sign in again by entering their registered credentials
