For students, engineers, scientists or people who fondly remember classic calculators, Halcyon Calc is a great application for manipulating numbers and even symbolic expressions.
Features:
- Use this calculator on an iPhone, iPod Touch or an iPad
- Use your finger to quickly scroll through the stack to review intermediate results
- Copy and paste support
- Over 225 built-in operations, including trig, logarithms, real functions, complex operations and more
- Allows you to work with real, complex and integer numbers.
- Real and complex numbers can be displayed in standard, fixed, scientific and engineering format
- Use over 120 built-in units to perform unit conversion or create your own units if the one you want is not already there
- Integer numbers can be displayed in decimal, hexadecimal, octal and binary bases
- Work with real and complex matrices and vectors.
- Enter symbolic expressions and solve them for different values. Even better, solve quadratic formulas, collect and expand factors and terms, find minima, maxima and roots of any expression.
- Plot symbolic expressions in X/Y coordinates. Pan the coordinate space by dragging the plot in any direction. Zoom in and out using a pinch gesture.
- Determine symbolic derivative, taylor series or numeric integral of an expression.
- Store numbers, lists, strings and expressions in symbols. Create hierarchies of symbols to allow you to organize your calculations.
- Create sequences of calculator commands into programs, creating your own operations which you can then include in expressions.
- Store statistical data and calculate totals, averages, standard deviations, linear regressions, etc over that data.
- Calculate the probabilities associated with standard distributions like the normal, F and T distributions.

Nouveautés de la version 4.2.3

This update fixes problems with CHS when editing more complex entries like an expression or a program. Where it tended to just append a minus sign at the end of the expression/program, it should now correctly negate a number under the cursor within a larger expression or program.

Superbe !

Ma vieille HP28S souffrant de quelques touches défaillantes, je m’étais tourné vers d’autres modèles de HP, dont la HP prime, mais HP n’a jamais rien fait de mieux que la 28S.
C’est donc avec un grand bonheur que j’ai découvert cette excellente et bluffante émulation de ma calculatrice favorite, indispensable à tout scientifique !

Very close to the original HP28 I had. The online documentation is very helpful.

La meilleure des calculatrices HP

Merci merci encore pour cette application!! La HP 28s est la plus géniale des calculatrices!
Cette calculatrice reconnaît nativement les nombres complexes, les matrices, les expressions algébriques... Bref que du bonheur.

Encore merci pour cette dernière évolution 6S et Stats!
Contrairement à la 28S, 1000 995 COMB retourne une erreur, mais je dois être le seul au monde a me poser tester ce genre de question😁
5 étoiles largement méritées
Sinon, une petite erreur, le label Complx ne prend pas de "e" et devrait permettre d'avoir une taille de police plus lisible

Quelques fonctions indispensables sont toujours absentes. COLCT EXPAN ISOL et surtout PERM ET COMB. Dommage également que le menu Units ne soit pas implémenter
