Win-draw-win during world cup final was a rip off. I bet against Argentina. Argentina won. So did i get the money? NO. When checked with customer care they sent random articles from their website stating it is a in only if they won in 90 mins. When playing the bet this was never mentioned. Terms and conditions also didnt have a mention of this. Random posts from their own website later when asked for money. Felt like I got scammed. Never ever going to touch this app again. Watch out for unwritten rules. Save your money.

They don’t let me verify my account because I don’t have a Medicare card. As not all people have Medicare card since they’re not a PR/Australian citizen. Well, if so then you guys are losing customers. People would rather use TAB than get all the documents to be verified by a police officer/pharmacist as it’s really time consuming. And betting is just an entertainment activity, why you guys request so much steps to be able to bet?
The customer support live chat doesnt really help much. At the end I lost the money I put in because I cannot verify my account. Or maybe that’s how you guys take money from customers :)

I have been using this app for years, it is easy to use but there aren’t many features that other apps don’t have, other apps such as Ned’s have more promotions. I was also promised a 100$ bonus bet through a message to my phone which I never received and sometimes the live chat just do not respond and you have to recreate a chat multiple times and it takes a long times.

Don’t get sucked in by the bonus deposit offer! I was offered $200 deposit bonus if I deposited $100. So I did it and then find out the $200 is given to you in the form of bonus bets. Sounds ok until you go to use them and you can only split that bonus bet into minimum of $50 bets! I had planned to use it in smaller amounts. Customer service is hopeless, they don’t even reply to the questions that I asked, they just give some generic response. I’m going to report them to the relevant gambling authority for false and misleading advertising. Beware

It crashes often now, try creating a live multi it freezes up after you select the first game. Then it always signs you out and when you try to sign in the login screen has shifted to the top of the screen and when you tap to login nothing happens, you have to close and reopen app a few times to fix it. Then once you do get to sign in again you have to set all your favourites all over again because it doesn’t store it.

I tried to address it via live chat with Evan who was probably the rudest person I’ve ever dealt with. No one can explain why my promotional privileges were taken away and no one will put them back on. Evan was less than useless and his customer service was appalling. Logs you out multiple times per day and randomly decides you're located outside of Australia most of the times you attempt to open the app. I was hoping they'd fix it with the last update but this app-breaking bug from two updates ago still exists. Definitely wouldn't be downloading until SportsBet do something about it. Ladbrokes is my personal backup.

Fantastic app. I typically bet exclusively on AFL and SpotsBet offers better odds than other bookies, voids injured players (most other bookies don't) and tracks same game multis in app. Much better layout than other betting apps I've used.

I enjoy using the app. It functions great apart from when I go to use another app (say I received a message and check that) when I switch back to the Sportsbet app it logs me out. If I try logging back in it won’t let me and I have to close the app and reopen it to then successfully re log in. This happens EVERY time I switch between apps. It is very frustrating. I’ve clicked “use faceid” I’ve clicked “keep me logged in”. It’s like I’m on a terrible version of the show Pranked but instead of Ashton Kutcher telling me I’ve been pranked it’s just my girlfriend telling me to shut up about the Sportsbet app

I’m a fan of the app but the $50 near the quickbet button shouldn't be there. I’ve placed $5 on a roughy a few times before and when hitting the quickbet button it hasn’t finalised so I’ve hit it again to finalise, after realising I’ve accidentally hit the $50 and then finalised $55, this should be changed to a $5 button near the quickbet button so the mistake doesn’t cost $50, please change this since there was no offer for refund when I called up the first time it happened to me. Outside of this the app is great and deserves 5 stars

I just created my account and they asked me to deposit money when creating it. Just after I did it, when I tried to log into my account it says account inactive. I asked the customer service which gave me a very sarcastic answers and told me that it doesn’t matter that I’ve deposited the money, I won’t be able to login to my account until a few days after I submitted my ID which wasn’t requested to some email. Definitely won’t recommend this app to anyone.

Been using Sportsbet without problem for 7 or more years without problem. Then I placed a bet on a horse to place, which it did. It came third. I was then informed that because the race only had 7 runners it was paying out for third. Third is place everyday of the week. When I went to dispute it the live chat assistant James L told me too bad so sad (paraphrasing) and left the chat. I called and spoke with a much better representative Adam who told me the same thing but wasn’t able to offer me a bonus bet of either the win or the original bet I placed. I understand (now) the terms and conditions state that a race must have 8 or More runners for third place to pay out but I don’t believe that’s common knowledge or common sense for that matter. Anyway.
a $10 bonus bet could have kept me as a user and they couldn’t even muster that up. Embarrassing if you ask me. I’ll be using Neds or Lad brokes or one of the many other apps in the future. Hopefully their customer service policies are superior.

I was basically a consistent winner and sometimes deals in grands. My account was suspended an year ago and when asked they said that my account has multiple users (which is not true) and also said will activate after 3 months. And finally after 3 months they activated my account but put the restrictions which is almost 100% restrictions that I can’t place any bets which is very funny. What’s the point of my account being active where I can’t place any single bet ?? I finally suggest everyone not to use Sportsbet if you want to win money. All they want is the people who lose money and encourages them by giving small amount of bonus.

Sportsbet has a policy to void sports bets if the venue is changed, but do not refund your stake. Why is this policy possible? Because the venue has changed it shouldn’t affect your bet. The teams being bet on are still playing each other. I have put on multiple sports bets of multi leg muti’s in the past weeks, only to have them void because the venue changed because of COVID times. This is a terrible policy and needs to be changed. I have put multis on early in the week only to find them void before the first game kicks off on the Friday because a venue change has occurred. Needless to say, II will not be using this app anymore

I recently deposited $ 40 into my Sportsbet account and had a $33 win bet and in the same race a$ 7 Quinella ( or so I thought) My losing win bet ran 2nd but i snagged the Quinella ( or so I thought) It turns out my losing bet was registered in dollars but my winning Quinella only registered in cents.I realise one must check one’s bets but as a Quinella is an unknown result at the time of wagering I did not . I was unaware one could even have a 7 cent bet and to do so I would have had to have typed in .07 so that being absurd the error was obviously their end not mine . On complaining they wouldn’t accept liability but offered a “good will “ $ 20 bonus which I refused on principle. I have since filed a complaint with the gaming board , but am not optimistic of satisfaction. I’m not claiming Sportsbet were nefarious, I’m saying their system has an obvious flaw and as I have been betting for years with them my pattern of bets indicates I never bet in cents and they should have honoured my winning bet . A couple of further points , their minimum deposit is $ 5 and the minimum withdrawal is $10 , why unless one reads all the fine print would anyone assume that betting in cents ( the minimum is 1 cent ) is even allowed? I think this is unjust .

For example, I had a leg get voided on a quaddie I placed and they say that bet stands and the favourite is put in place. Thats a blatant rip off they should just void the whole bet instead of giving you the favourite when it isn’t 100% that the favourite will win. A leg voided is a leg voided you can’t void a leg then tell me I lost the bet because the favourite didn’t win the voided leg, if you void a leg of a bet then that leg does not count pure and simple. If it’s a quaddie, cancel the bet. Just return the bet.

Same for both me and my wife, the black book alerts keep dropping off and you miss races that you could have bet on. I keep changing them from SMS, they then drop off, so change to email, then after a while they drop off then to push notifications. Geeeze, if you want my money then fix this issue up. I have logged the issue I but got a generic response. Maybe less on advertising and improve the app.

This app has good set up and functionality.
It does have several glitching issues and can let you down at the most important times, the moment of placing your winning bet. Most importantly I have experienced winning bets not to be paid. In this instance when the live chat was activated to raise the issue the non paid bet disappeared before my eyes. Unbelievable! Luckily I had taken a screen shot of my bets. Unfortunately the bet remained unpaid and the live chat went into auto respond. Be aware and read the other reviews before making you bet! Or go with another betting option as I have.

Reading some reviews I find a lot of them hard to believe.
There must be a lot of salty punters out there. This is entertainment after all.
Anyway, the app is first class. Never glitches, speedy, great UI and just works. Find the little detail far better than most companies. Logos beside each team and bold colour etc.
Pay out quicker than any other corporate I’ve used. Cash out feature, Sportsbet cash card, multiple markets and up to date social media is all top notch.
Customer service is quick, friendly, knowledgeable and go above and beyond.
Far more bonus bets and promotional interest than other bookmakers.
Sure they aren’t a charity, like any other bookmaker, it’s entertainment remember. But I’ve never had a payout issue or bets disappearing. I find this hard to believe.
If you want an easy to sign up process, best app and up to date markets as they arise (US election was incredible) then they are the way to go.

While Dane swan is wheeled out regularly to highlight how ladsy betting is, the algorithms behind the app and the company policies are far more sinister. Progressively more aggressive attempts to bring back big/bad betters to the app, weighting the amount available to be bet on previously successful fields in favour of the app and to locking in money within the app in the name of avoiding money laundering, but in reality just providing an added speed bump for people to remove cash.

It’s a good betting app, odd is good. However, some part of the service should be improved. When betting on esports, if the game is best of 3, and my bet is total map above 2.5, the result is clear after the second map ends. Whenever I lose, you take money in my account immediately, every time I win, you give me the bonus after the 3rd map ends, that is ridiculous, waste my time and opportunity to bet more. And the market comes out really late.

I tried to place a bet on Newcastle knights to win and a anytime try scorer with a 2 leg multi and a power play, it wouldn’t let me bet saying error call customer service so I did and he said there was nothing wrong and I tried clearing bets then retrying and still wouldn’t work. He couldn’t give me a answer saying he couldn’t manually do 2 leg multi over phone, then getting was suspended and when I could finally call to bet on Newcastle knights the return changed and now I couldn’t do the full bet I wanted the the multi because you can’t do that over the phone. This ruined my experience with the sport and with sports bet, now I will be deleteing this app and using another.

Your app has glitched and closed on me so many times, I try to fill my bet slip for a multi and get kicked out repeatedly, emptying my bet slip in the process. Fed up with it taking 20 to 30 minutes to get a bet on. When I rang to complain I was told to update the OS on my device, delete the app and reinstall. Did that and there is no change, still getting kicked out before I can complete my bets. Seems to happen more on NBA bets for some reason. If it continues I will stop betting with Sportsbet.

I use the app frequently and live bet. They used to have in-app scores for every game now they don’t have the scores anywhere. This is inconvenient and time consuming - if they don’t bring the live scores back, I will start using another bookie that you can actually keep track of the score without having to jump between apps.

Sportsbet sent me a promotional text before a race telling me that if I bet on the race I’d potentially get a bonus bet back under certain conditions. So I bet on the race, met the conditions and should’ve received my bonus bet but I never did. I contacted them asking why and was told they emailed me 4 minutes before the promotion began! To tell me that I was no longer eligible for any special offers.
Not only is this 4 minute window ridiculous but the email went straight to my junk folder so there’s no way I would’ve seen it before the race started. The only reason I bet on the race was because they text me the offer! I ended up losing $100 that I’d still have if Sportsbet had any decency.
I was told there’s no possible way I can get the bonus bet, tough luck. Absolute disgrace hope this deters other people from using this bookie, use BetEasy instead no issues with them so far.

Unfortunately Sportsbet has dropped the ball, it no longer offers a proper power play, I originally switched camps from Ladbrokes over to Sportsbet because of the value it offered to the average punter out there, but this is no longer the case, I’m seriously considering moving my entertainment dollar to someone who values there customer, instead of sticking with Sportsbet who keep moving the goal posts while I’m not watching. I used to get the occasional free bonus bet, that’s ceased. I’m particularly disappointed though with how I once used to get a Powerplay that increased my odds, now I joke with my fellow punters and come up with different names for the miserly amount you tack on, we’ve come up with Powerpuff we think this fits perfectly. Hopefully you can lift your game or otherwise it’s goodbye from me.

Live games don’t work or score properly to follow with the new update. Info on reviewing a multi isn’t as good, it’s all over the place or missing (current odds, legs etc), you can’t add remaining legs to a new betslip if the multi has any same games in it anymore, odds are out of order on scroll downs for pick your own line etc. Had weeks to fix all these issues and haven’t. It’s frustrating when people spend so much money with you the limited iPhone updates or care you give in fixing issues with your app. My use of Sportsbet has declines the last month because of the consistent app inadequacies, regardless of version

I have had many glitches and non paying or unsuccessful betting situations with Sportsbet which has ruined the betting experience and made it a task and a unenjoyable
After betting with Sportsbet over an extended period, on occasions have had bets removed from my pending bet slip on three occasions.
On the third time I said I have to make sure I see this through, as the previous times I called and emailed several time to no response or answers.
I made the inquiry filled out there client satisfaction email and they banned me from accessing account.
They have refuted a winning and live 3 leg bet as void. The reason from Sportsbet the second leg was a scratching, it is my understanding all bets occur deductions for scratchings early or late, this is why scratching bets are refunded. Although the 1st leg won and the 3rd leg is yet to run Sportsbet voided the bet.
Fixed win of $6990.
I would advise against betting with Sportsbet.
I am left and having proceed time consuming report, wait and to pursue meditation from the games and liquor authorities.
For a bet which potentially won’t win but laid with my hard earned with the expectations of the betting organisation doing what we all expect and that is for our gamble to be paid out if won.
I find Sportsbet abhorrent and as I said I would advise staying clear from this betting company.

Hi, I’ve been using your app for quite some time now and have been really happy with it, however today i have received the wrong amount for my winnings and have spoken to a member of yours and she keeps insisting that i was paid the right amount which is only half of what i was supposed to receive. I had a 9 leg multi and I actually WON all 9 legs, each leg showed (WIN) next to it and neither of the legs had a (VOID) beside it. She then kept insisting that one of my leg was voided so I didn’t want to argue anymore. Thank God i saved screenshots of my bets before and after and also of my potential winning which i never received in full amount but only half of it...
This is a BIG LET DOWN and the issue is still unresolved due to the lack of intentions of actually fixing the problem. Once again i have screenshots of everything and trust me, this wouldn’t look too good for you guys at all.

Placed a one off AFL grand final bet then months later decided to have another look at the markets. Tried to deposit a got an error saying I couldn’t deposit. Then noticed I hadn’t verified. Tried that and get an error message “You can’t verify at this time. Please make sure you have deposited”. Live chat person confirms I can’t deposit because I haven’t verified (yet error tells me I have to deposit to be verified ???). Then they take my ID details and tell me it didn’t work and to send certified documents. Pointed out to them at that point it’s not worth the hassle if their system isn’t working and I’ll just forget about using them. Suggested they fix things before taking on more business.

Great app. Easy to use. One problem I find is when picking multiple boxed trifecta's (via exotics) & also picking win/place bets, finalising your Yellow Bet box doesn't work correctly. Yes I put the amount in that I want to pay for the trifecta's & that's fine but when I press on the individual horses that I've elected to have an each way bet on, the app has a glitch. I press Each Way then try to enter the dollar value & it suddenly shows me the next horses details that I want to bet on next. So I've got too press back & re-enter the value again. Same happens with the next horse. Otherwise great app.

I find it impossible to believe that if you are using your iPhone app and have hotspot on that you cannot place a bet using your bet slip. The layout of the app does not allow it according to sportsbet service technicians. I can do a quick bet but cannot bet any other way. It is insane

I’ve tried logging out then back in again, deleted the method of payment then re-added it again, even tried adding a different method of payment and still nothing, along with all this, wont let me verify my account, the screen just loads for 2 seconds then takes you back to the “verify now” page.. very irritating and frustrating

After promoting bonus bets and going well (making money) I received an email to say I am banned from any promotions enticing me to spend more but can still gamble freely with my own money. I.e. $50 bonus bet for coming 2nd or 3rd in Sydney and Melbourne every Saturday. I have religiously spent $50 each and every race for the past year and then been told my account has been blocked due to their marketing and promotional team. When I asked why, the response was they would have to answer, when asked them, they said they don’t need to answer it’s up to their discretion. I have been using SportsBet for many years it’s been great and easy ..... until you have a problem- I can no longer see my bets - it tells me to call the 1800 number - so I do. The young guy ( that sounds & talks like he’s a uni student doing work experience) he tells me to delete and re install - done ! Problem doesn’t change - call back 3 days later and the young “customer service “ guy says nothing he can do and tells me lots of people have been calling with the same problem- so I ask “ do I just delete and use other app” he said “ if you wish “

I was referred to Sportsbet by a friend and was advised there would be $150 signup bonus and when I deposited $500, I was told I’m not eligible for anything due to my billing address being in Victoria even though I am currently residing in Queensland. Afterwards , I tried withdrawing money back to my bank account and was impossible due to not making bets and not being eligible. After being on hold for 35 minutes, the CS team finally did a manual withdrawal. Ladbrokes Customer Service is much more efficient, courteous and professional over the phone and don’t ask any over the top security questions . Beware !!

Been having a few issues with doing a same game multi for the AFL. Every time I pick a few bets on the same game multi and i try another bet from the same game it goes to the screen where it shows the footy goal posts and i lose all the bets I had put on, kind of frustrating. Constantly loses connection to internet. Whether it is using cellular or wifi seems to make no difference. Every time there’s an update I hope it’s fixed but still waiting. Only way to fix it is to force quit and open again.
Other main problem is that jockey changes are never updated and track and weather information is rarely correct.
It’s an ok app to place a bet but you also need another app or browser to use in conjunction.

put “each way” in the race screen with win/place, currently you have to change in the bet slip!

Overall the app is fairly straight forward and easy to use. I love the short form guide on the horses and dogs. Multi builder is easy to use.
Customer service is top notch when you need to speak to anyone.
Ok bad points -
- 1 every time I put on a 25 leg stupid multi I always get the “check connection” which means I can’t put the bet on. However I have no problem putting normal bets on. Spoke to customer service and told will take at least a month to resolve and I always have the latest update. Been happening over a year now.
- There is no mention on any horse or dog race if there is no third div paying. FIX THIS PLEASE!
- On the results page, there is no Aus/NZ on dogs but you will happily do it for the horses. Again I have reported it but it still hasn’t been fixed. Make it easy for us!
I’ll happily put it to 5 when you fix these things.
