YT Music is my go to for all my devices. Easy to navigate, can watch and listen to vids on YT. Playlists are real nice and I like the features offered.
However, my only issue is when music I don’t like reappear in my playlists constantly. An option to block songs would be lovely.

1)SEARCHING downloaded songs(OFFLINE)
The search bar does not show songs until we press the search button. This is annoying and the users expect to see the list of songs as we type it’s title, artist or album.
2)RECOMMENDATIONS
Youtube/ Yt Music should improve its recommendations. It recommends the same liked, watched or listened songs instead of showing new or similar songs based on likes/interaction with the app. Most of the users wld like to explore/listen to new/different songs of their favorite genre, and poor recommendation algorithm ruins it.
More suggestions will be added later on.

I am a yt premium user and there are certain issues i would love to see get fixed. Firstly, The queue automatically gets cleared while listening to music and the song stops after it ends.
Secondly, there is a glitch in tap and response. There is a lag in loading, lag in downloading and lag in opening the playlist even with high internet speed.
Kindly fix these in an update!

Always been my go to app for music , from any language, both on my phone and ipad.
Earlier in the music player, it used to show beautiful album art on left side along with controls , and on the right side the current playlist . It got changed in the update. Now the album art and controls use whole screen and to open the playlist I have to tap down on its button every time .
I liked the previous layout. An option to change the layout would be great.

i have used all three major music platforms (apple music,spotify & yt music)and i have to say yt music is one for me but it have a major downside compared to other platforms; they don’t have support for in app download in apple watch (which other two platforms offer) i really hope they add it in next update, and i also want other users who have plans to download & have subscription in yt music to keep this in their mind.

Started using YTM after being a regular user of AppleMusic for more than 2yrs. YTM definitely has good number of songs, but there is room for improvement, for basic things:
1. No option for auto-download of songs when added to library.
2. Once custom playlist is created, and if i add a song in that playlist, it always bugs with notif that “some songs might be deleted” but why ??
3. Whenevr i add multiple songs to a custom playlist, it should have an option to autodownload. But i have to refresh playlist everytime.

It has changed my way to look at the app. I used to like it the way t was before, like the album of the song playing displaying on the left side of the screen and the right side the queue, it was really good and better that way. The only thing I think that’s missing for us iOS users is that we don’t get a Music Equalizer. Users living in the Apple ecosystem don’t get the opportunity to use an equalizer unless switched to a different company product.

The collection and the recommendations are quite good. But the app lacks some important features which I miss.
No now playing widget to control music. The provided widget only contains links to playlists.
Also a music app should have a sleep timer. Nothing on that front.

I’ve tried a variety of apps in India and stayed with YouMusic for 2 reasons:-
1) Let there be any music in the world YouTube/YouMusic is the only one with the most music on them thus if I’m listening to any new music from a friend, I’m sure it’s on YT.
2) Google’s algorithm suggest you the perfect sync of music in lines with what you are hearing thus you don’t need to keep on searching the next song as it automatically recommends perfectly almost everytime.

Positives.
1. Good collection.
2. Download and shuffle offline.
Improvements Needed.
1. Offline downloaded songs randomly starts showing not available anymore. User has to delete it from downloads, search the song and download again. It has to be done for each individual song, can’t even multi-select.
2. Most annoying bug - when i start playing songs from downloads(connected on earphones/bluetooth/car audio etc.) , and lock my screen. After playing couple of songs, the ordered songs stop playing and automatically the song which was running keeps running on repeat mode. I have to again open my phone, shuffle and play again so that all songs get played instead of one being on repeat.
3. Quality of audio in the songs where only video is available should be improved to match industry standards also including higher bit rates.
4. Wherever possible please include dolby digital surround for premium users.

songs are dissapearing after a certain period of time, it shows an exclamation mark, then I have to remove them from downloads and re download it again, and the songs redownloading also there is issues , its not downloading properly , I have to remove and add to download several times in order to attempt a proper download. we are paying monthly the subscription correctly and this is what the users gets😒😒. Please fix that ASAP Its been too long

My "up next" list always shows empty. I have updated the app. But still the "up next" list always shows empty. Moreover, when I touch anywhere on the empty list, it opens up the options menu of a particular song. It’s like the list isn’t empty but only shows empty.

Hello sir,
I am using the google nest mini gen 2. Some songs for example ‘grind me down’ and many more whenever I try to say that ‘hey google play grind me down’ google plays it’s remix version or any other songs. Please fix it because this the best app that I got for the songs but this glitch frustrates me. Many other google assistant glitches are there like whenever I try to turn on Ac google says turning Ac to cool. Please fix it.

I enjoy the app a lot. But you need to give a “Search within playlist” feature since I have 200+ songs in my playlist and sometimes I want to play a particular song from my playlist only so that the rest of the songs can follow after it
Also the “Shuffle” logic needs to be refreshed. Multiple times when I have played the same song at first from my playlist, the songs in shuffle play almost exactly in the same order which gets boring

The one things that has prevented me from upgrading to Premium is that, the name of the track does not display on the console screen of the car. Its a deal breaker :(
I like to know what i’m listening to, instead of consistently glancing at the screen intermittently.

Overall, the app does what it advertises. But, as a music player, it needs to have more music specific features. As for me, the major drawback I see are the lack of playlist related features. I couldn’t find a control for reordering a playlist. There isn’t a checkbox available for adding a song to multiple playlists. At times, the cover art of the song doesn’t match the one that is being played.
Would also like some Premium only features to justify the cost.

The App is good but a problem is that the downloaded songs get deleted each time the app is deleted or the app is added in a new phone. The songs need to be downloaded each time you sign in.

The music shuffle doesn’t works appropriately it tends to repeat songs every time you start a new shuffle. Also there is no option to arrange the songs in playlist in alphabetical order. These are the basic features missing in this app. Also option to toggle the equaliser would be a good addition.

Every time when I close the app, the last song or playlist played is vanished. I had to manually select a song or playlist to start with again. It would be great if it pauses in the same song or playlist and I can continue with the last song or playlist where I had stopped in. Please add this feature

I’ve been using this app for a long time now! And i just love it ... the music exploration is really good (at least for me) also the sound quality.
Only thing is the app interface and lyrics section.
APP INTERFACE can be a little better and smooth and LYRIC SECTION can also be developed (fonts are too small)
TRY TO ADD SOME ANIMATION TO THE APP.

App crashes sometimes, albums covers get mixed up, music stops playing occasionally, and there’s no option to play just Audio. Initially there used to be a option but i dont see it now.
The music suggestions are amazing though✌🏼

Things that should be improved:
1. It only & only shows recommendations from the songs that I’ve already played. Would be great if I could be recommended with songs that are similar to the songs I mostly play.
2. Whenever you close a music app from the background, Wynk, Gaana, etc., their player lets me pick up from where I left. Would be great to have this feature.
It’s not playing again after pausing

It is not playing again after pausing. For example if I’m listening using airpods and for some reason I paused by taking one of the earbuds and putting it back it won’t automatically play when I put it back. Apple music is far better because there is no problem like that but there are limited songs so I prefer this. It is good application but this is major issue.
Please test by taking one of the earbuds multiple times and put back and you will notice it will not play again.
I’m using iPhone XS max and I’m talking about mobile data means cellular

It’s A Great App Indeed For Listening Exclusive Songs And Music But It Doesn’t Have Basic Options Like Repeat Option For A Particular Song, No Lyrics Option + The Interface Is Sort Of Confusing And Missing Something.
I Always Have To Go To History Section For Recent Songs, The Home Page Doesn’t Even Shows The Songs I’m Listening To, It Just Recommends Other Playlists And New Songs. I Have Been Using The App From A Lot Of Time Now And I Have Seen Little Stutters In Between, Please Solve These Problems In The Upcoming Updates.
As A Premium Acc. User, I Should Get The Above Features.

Just play a song and let it get to work....you’ll hardly find the need to skip a song.....My speakers are constantly working overtime since i installed this app....So me and a friend of mine discussed about the awesomeness of this app and came up with conspiracy theory abt it.....Maybe google know us for so long ....they know our personalities ...our moods at different times....our preference that it can predict what music would suit that moment and this seems like pure magic....they obviously have the largest database....just download it ....

This is probably the best song library I’ve come across. It has one of the best algorithms for song suggestions. There are so many songs I love that I’d never ever heard before. Just one suggestion though if there was an option to put this app on a sleep timer it’d be the most complete experience. Other than that amazing.

Needs to be fixed badly:
* Missing Lyrics! Lyrics are the most basic feature every other music service has.
* out of Sync videos with BT headsets like Bose free! Unless this gets fixed the videos are useless . Do note that the videos are in sync when played in safari browser .
Liked the collection of music, concept of videos along with the music. Would have gladly paid for monthly sub if I could actually enjoy it without the before mentioned flaws.

So the app overall is really nice, i like the interface, the recommendations and the sheer amount of songs there are. But i’ve been facing an issue where when i try to add a song to my playlists it just won’t allow the song to added and even if the app shows that my song has been added to the playlist, there is no song in the playlist [Only for downloads]

Hello Admin & Developers,
I would like to inform / feedback to you that I’m a paid premium member of the app and i am having one issue which has to be addressed.
Unlike other Apps like Apple Music, Saavan etc this app doesn’t remember what was playing last when i forced close it.
For example I’m listening one of Kaabir Singh song and then middle of the song i pause and close the app! Now when i open it again it doesn’t know where I left whereas other apps like Apple Music and Saavan remembers even after i close them in a middle of the songs.
Pls resolve this issues as it’s a Music player this function has to be there.

It’s really not feasible to scroll through playlist to find a song even after being a premium member. It gets irritating at times. Might wanna add a search bar within playlist. And can you guys please add option for lyrics? Like not in video lyrics. But a separate option to see lyrics for the song now playing.
Otherwise it’s awesome. Great suggestions of songs. All according to the taste.

Good recommendations. However, in the personalised mixtape, the genres are mixed up which makes it weird to play it as is.
Accessing downloads without internet is not possible. This simply defies the purpose of downloading those songs as if I had access to the internet, I would simply use it instead of listening to the downloaded songs

First of all it’s an music app like Ganna, wynk and so on. But in this strange music app you can’t lock your screen while listening to music to do so we have to subscribe which is ridiculous. If it’s a video song player I will agree to keep the screen on all day. If you keep your mobile in your pocket you might accidentally skip or pause the songs which is really irritating. So after this frustration you will end up subscribing to there apps. In this way they are forcing us to buy this app. Which is again ridiculous.

It’s a strange app. It can automatically turn to portrait mode when you are in landscape mode. The implementation of material UX is dark, strange, and distracting. The ‘Now Playing’ window slides down into separate corners and is almost as featureless as can be (no lyrics support, or artist lookup).
On the positive side, the suggestion algorithm is really satisfying. I enjoyed most of the music suggestions. And the ability to browse/enjoy videos is a real bonus. But again, it can implement random album or artist art (which feels downright annoying). And lot of content - playlists, artist info, etc. feel machine made, not hand-made. Of everything else, music is a thing of feeling. And here, it just doesn’t feel living enough. It’s a promising app, but almost everything needs more work. Sorry, I don’t think it’s the thing for me after trial ends.

It is kinda shame for a massive company like Google Inc., to force people to pay in order to have the privilege of playing music on the background. Especially when a lot of small time music apps are giving it as a “basic”.
Google has a large collection that is indisputable. But if this silly strategy is your business model, I’ll stick with apps that treats music apps as music apps.
