This! This is what true love is! To be able to accept, and let go, and Mr. Darcy loved Lizzie truly, with all his heart, and soul. Such a beautiful story, and such compelling, memorable characters! Jane Austen’s genius shines through every word, and how beautifully she writes about things, things that most people are unable to express themselves. This book has made me an instant fan of hers, and I have discovered her work at the perfect time in my life, where I am old enough to understand the depth of her words, and young enough to fall in love and comprehend those beautiful feelings that come with it!

Austen draws the reader into the 19th century romantic moralities effortlessly. The distinctive characterisation of every character and the pleasant surprises that readers become privy to as the story progresses makes us wish we wouldn’t have been so easily led by the protagonist. This in fact, says more about Austen’s captivating narrative style, where she guides the reader to only see what she wants us them to.
Highly recommend this book to those who would like to know of the English romantic moralities of the 19th century and the strong women who survived it.
21st century readers be advised that the language is old and would require the understanding and patience of its times.

A great read, one of the first novels I have read and I do not regret the choices. It follows how the pride of one and prejudice of other change their course to being so amiable eventually as one overcomes the other, though equally. The story seems to detailed in the beginning and too hastened in the end though, but in a delightful manner. Indeed, a classic!!

The book was wonderful. It had me smiling all the time. It correctly showed the struggles of the females in the era and the mindset of the society. I absolutely loved Elizabeth and her bold attitude. While,her cousin who married her best friend amused me to no end. In all,this was a great book to read.
