The KORG DS-10 series was an enormous hit for the Nintendo DS. Now, seven years later, it has undergone a further evolution while staying true to its original spirit. Now available is the KORG iDS-10, a portable synthesizer studio for iOS.
The KORG iDS-10 combines a cutting-edge analog synthesizer, voice synthesizer, and analog drum machine inspired by motifs from the original KORG DS-10. This iOS app gives you a hand-held system to easily create electronic music, which requires persuasive sound with a minimal number of notes.

The analog synthesizer provides carefully selected parameters, making it easy to enjoy sound design. The unique patching function also lets you create sound in even deeper ways. Since all parameters can be automated, you have a wide range of song-production possibilities. Each synthesizer provides five types of effect with an oscilloscope that helps you see the sound. This cutting-edge synth engine takes full advantage of the iOS device’s CPU to generate astonishing sound, and will heighten your enjoyment using the KORG DS-10.

The voice synthesizer is one of the popular features of the KORG iDS-10. Based on a vocoder, its engine makes it easy to generate voices. It also supports input via a microphone which can be used as a conventional vocoder. The parameters are optimized for creating such voices, so you’ll be able to enjoy sound design with a different character than an analog synthesizer, further widening the possibilities for your music.

Drums are now more important than ever, and the iDS-10 provides an analog drum machine that’s carefully tuned for easy creation of powerful sounds. With total control over six drum sounds (kick, snare, hihat1 / ihat2, tom, and percussion), you can create awesome tracks with high impact.

The smart keyboard lets you specify a scale so that you can step-record without worrying about “wrong” notes. And of course there’s also KAOSS mode, where you can produce a limitless range of great-sounding phrases, with just a touch of the keyboard. The scale setting is also applied to the sequencer’s note display, so you can enjoy producing songs whether or not you have any musical knowledge or experience.

Vraiment cool,facile à,utiliser, et pas mal de possibilité de synthèse grâce au patchbank et au trigg condition !!!juste un oscillateur en plus aurait été parfait,et niveau rythmique,un peu plus de caractère dans les drums et c’était parfait....

Que dire ? La qualité Korg est au rendez-vous, la modélisation est top (mention spéciale pour les drums qui ont une belle patate), le séquenceur est très complet et le synthé vocal promet des heures de délire créatif ! Les options de connexion midi et d’export sont également les bienvenues. Deux (petits) bémols : on ne peut pas faire tourner l’appli en tâche de fond (par exemple pour faire tourner une compo pendant qu’on s’amuse avec une autre appli de synthé) et le maniement sur iPhone est un peu imprécis. Dans l’ensemble, je recommande cette appli !

Soniquement excellent, supérieur à la version Nintendo Ds et un synthe vocodeur d'enfer mais bon en 2017 par de compatibilité Ableton Link ni Gadget c'est gênant. Please Korg bougez vous !!!

Super il y avais un moment où il nais tais pas compatible à mon iPad 3 iOS 9.3.5 maintenant super oui sa marche . SVP fait aussi pour Arp odyssei jais voulue l,acheter mais il nais pas compatible comme à vend pour korg ids-10. Petit problème avec ids-10 les sons crake y as des crake ment . Si non un très korg ids-10 merci .

La MAJ apporte pas mal d'améliorations. Mais il manque encore pas mal de chose :
-Un undo
-une quantification d'enregistrement (le jeu au clavier externe n'est pas précis quand on joue vite)
-l'affichage des automations dans le séquenceur et le moyen de les éditer ou effacer.

Magnifique son typé MS20. Si vous appréciez le iMS20, vous ne serez pas déçu !! Énorme son sur l'iPhone.

Ne fonctionne pas avec l'iPhone 5, cela devrait être écrit plus clairement, ce n'est pas un app universal même si fonctionne avec iPad Air. C'est inadmissible pour une marque comme korg.

Quel bonheur de retrouver sur son iPhone le son de mes Korg acheté entre 1978 et 1979 : MS10 MS 20 et SQ10. Revendus en raison de trop longues heures à peaufiner le son, je retrouve tout cela dans ma poche ! Bassiste désormais, il me reste à trouver un moyen de fixer sur la table de ma basse. Encore du temps perdu ? Non. Bravo aux équipes de Korg.
Dommage qu'elle soit fermée aux autres !!!

Le concept et les sons sont interressants, la recréation du MS10 est réussie, mais où est la gestion du midi, quel dommage de ne pas pouvoir utiliser un clavier extérieur !!
L'audiobus serait aussi le bienvenu, le programme est bien conçu mais gagnerait énormément à s'ouvrir aux autres applis.
La rendre universelle iPhone+iPad serait un plus.
Vivement une mise à jour qui pourrait la rendre incontournable !!
