Coffee house shots
There are several good UK political podcasts, covering Brexit mainly at the moment. This one is particularly good - not too long, relaxed but serious, very straightforward and without the sometimes excessive laughter and in-jokes that mar some of the others. The speakers are very clear. It is entertaining without trying to be so. It naturally tends to have a Conservative party focus but is refreshingly objective and unpartisan. It is blessedly free of the more or less useless repeated statements - at best wearyingly uninformative, at worst simply mendacious - of the politicians that dominate the BBC’s poor coverage.
