Description

Revisionist History is Malcolm Gladwell's journey through the overlooked and the misunderstood. Every episode re-examines something from the past—an event, a person, an idea, even a song—and asks whether we got it right the first time. From Pushkin Industries. Because sometimes the past deserves a second chance.

Just perfect

This podcast is just perfect. There are so many good themes podcasts nowadays but the combination of themes, details and emotion that Malcolm Gladwell put in this podcast leaves you wanting just that much more, whether he's talking about women in public life or country music! Highly recommended

Fabulous storytelling

Where does he finds these topics? Every episode is a great story (or two) and a profound insight. The production is spectacular, too -- music, interviews, everything; this is not a low-budget thing. The only annoyance is the repeated announcements from the sponsors, but that's the price to pay.

Stories behind stories

Showing us concealed or unexplored facets of real life stories. Really good, wonderfully engaging yet reveals so much social injustices that it's kind of heartbreaking. Highly recommended!

Refreshing and addictive

I loved Malcolm Gladwell's Book "Outliers" even though I don't see everything the way he does, because he is very gifted to tell a good story. Or no, he is just amazing at taking stories apart and tell them differently, convincingly. His work is extremely thought provoking, insightful and he is passionate. Hope there will be a season 2 or a new book soon.

Brave!

I haven’t always loved everything Malcolm Gladwell has written, so I came to the podcast with some skepticism. However I’ve really been blown away by his mini-series on education. His perspective is so correct and he’s pointed out things I have never thought of before. Bravo to Malcolm. It literally thrills me the way he takes a swing at big institutions and calls on the listener to take concrete action against the unfairness of the system as it currently operates. I couldn’t admire him more at this point. I am not a review writer, but I simply HAD to express my approval of this podcast. Keep it up!

Heartfelt and important

Insightful, well-researched, well-written, well-scored.
This podcast provides a fresh perspective on subjects we think we know and demystifies common misconceptions.
Above all, I appreciate Malcolm Gladwell's personal investment and just how passionate he is about some of the topics, namely the American educational system.

Fascinating

Love history ? Love understanding things ? Love storytelling ? Have some time to kill in the metro in the morning ? Listen to this simple but really gripping podcast, you will go to sleep a lot smarter in the evening. A little bit for bookworms and nerds but all the stories are told in a very intelligible way.
