In the podcast Dastan – e – Bollywood we will take you through the life story of legendary Bollywood stars like Meena Kumari , Raj Kapoor , Noorjehan and others with Indias first and only Female Dastangoi Artist Fouzia Dastango. She is a performer par excellence who has graced many cultural events with her presence and such was her love for this art and Urdu language that she quit her job as a lecturer in SCERT to pursue her passion . Headlining acts for AR Rahman is only the beginning of her astounding achievements.
It is scripted by Danish Iqbal ,a National award winner including the National Award and the prestigious ‘Mohan Rakesh Samman’. A Delhi based playwright who combines in himself various roles of a performer, teacher, and most importantly a storyteller !Danish has worked with some of the best theatre personalities of India that include Utpal Dutt and M S Sathyu.
