Scripture Engagement (2 of 2)

Scripture Engagement (2 of 2)

Durée : 39:44
This is the final episode of our first season. This follow-up discussion (start with ep 19), was recorded on August 17th 2021 and focuses on the general topic of Scripture Engagement. Our guests for these two episodes include Dr. Wayne Dye, Michelle Petersen and David Gray who represent SIL (http://sil.org), Dallas International University (https://diu.edu), Canada Institute of Linguistics (https://www.canil.ca) and Moorlands College (https://moorlands.ac.uk) in the U.K. Our sponsor for these two episodes is CanIL, the Canada Institute of Linguistics.
In episode 19 we learned some of the background that brought Michelle Petersen and David Gray into scripture engagement. In this episode Dr. Wayne Dye will share about his own background in scripture engagement that brought him to where he is today. Later on, Michelle shares a common misconception about the timing of when scripture engagement begins. We will also look at training opportunities for those who want to explore scripture engagement further, from 1-hour online sessions to certificates and masters of arts programs.
