Join Wendy for an open-hearted discussion about the mind-body connection in food sensitivity. Her guests share their stories about finding freedom from the restricted-diet culture, which is so prevalent in our society. You will learn new strategies to live a full life and get back to enjoying food.
Wendy is a registered dietitian from Alberta, Canada. She has worked in food sensitivity for over 25-years. Initially, her interest was the science of food allergy. But as she started working with clients, she was drawn to the mind-body connection and helping grey-zone clients (i.e., individuals with unexplained sensitivities that often fall through the cracks of our medical system). This led her on a journey to develop the Food Avoidance & Sensitivity Trap (FAST) model and the theory of conditioned food sensitivity. Currently, she is the director of the FAST Freedom Program. Wendy and her team help food sensitive people rebuild body and food trust. She also facilitates a continuing education course for health professionals – Helping Food Sensitive Clients Through the Grey- Zone.
